Belgium is a tiny, young European country, situated between The Netherlands, Germany, France, and Luxembourg what makes it multicultural and multilingual as French and Flemish are the official languages. Although, Belgian biggest cities have a lot to offer in terms of attractions, chocolate, and beer. Belgium is proud to produce more than 1000 beer brands and 600,000 tons of chocolate every year!!! That’s what I am calling achievements!!! I selected 4 Belgium cities to visit on my Belgian fairy tale itinerary with a taste of waffles, chocolate and beer.
Nestled in the Pirin mountain – a city walk in Blagoevgrad
Blagoevgrad reminds me of my last trip in Bulgaria before starting my new life in the Netherlands. With a French friend of mine, we visited the Rila Monastery, hiked the 7 Rila Lakes, made a stop in Melnik for some more hike and wine and ended our trip in Blagoevgrad where she lived back at this time. That why I can’t wait to go on a city walk in Blagoevgrad – the city that is nestled in the Pirin mountain.
