I believe grief is inevitable for anyone and we will all experience it one day or another. Agnès meets it totally unexpectedly and looses her beloved husband Colin and their daughter Clara in a car accident. She could not accept life without them.
I am so happy and grateful to finally make it!!!! Book club – the second edition just happened. It took me so long to organize it and I am proud to say “I made it”!
The five books I am going to list below will keep you reading all night long without stopping for a second. All these five books for real world explorers are very interesting and will give you more insight into countries that are not so popular among global trotters.
It’s a pure coincidence that I was reading simultaneously three books at the same time which depicts stories about love in the time of war. ”My children” by Guzel Yakhina followed ”Zuleikha opens her eyes”, the first book I’ve read by the same author. ”The Tattooist of Auschwitz” by Heather Morris ”found me” after my visit to the concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau and I was captivated by all the details I saw with my eyes there. The third book about lovve in time of war is the Bulgarian novel ”The Peach Thief” by Emilian Stanev.
It’s wintertime and it’s the best time of the year to catch up with some nice movies. I’ve been thinking about writing a post about my movies nights with five great actresses! Do you like Marion Cotillard, Audrey Tautou, Diane Keaton and Kate Winslet?
