At the occasion of Saint Valentine’s day, I would like to list 10 of the best romance movies shot at amazing bucket list locations. Some of the travel romance movies I’ve selected are based on books that I am going to mention for all the book lovers as well. However, if you already have met your travel mate and you share the same passion for movies and travelling, just get yourself comfortable and enjoy my list.
What to offer as a present to a friend who loves travelling is a question that resonates over and over again when it comes to my friends’ birthdays. People who collect moments and not things are difficult to be surprised especially when you want to offer them a practical travel present. Varna is one of the oldest cities in the world and is the Black Sea capital of Bulgaria. There is an airport and many low-cost airlines provide direct flights to Varna, especially in the summer. To make it easy, I selected 20 interesting attractions to visit in Varna and the region. As a bonus, I listed a few amazing places to eat and taste the local cuisine.
The time has come to put in writing one of the best trips in my life – from Sofia to Sofia hiking through the heavenly beautiful Rila 7 Lakes, tasting wine in Melnik and hang out in Blagoevgrad. I made the 7 Rila Lakes trip just before moving to the Netherlands to remind me how beautiful Bulgaria is. I treated myself to a unique hiking experience exploring the 7 Rila Lakes and the great scenery you can admire from the Melnik cliffs.
As there was no snow in Varna this winter, I decided to go to the Rhodopes to enjoy the snow in search of Thracian sanctuaries and Stone Mushrooms. The route included the Historical Museum of Kardzhali – Thracian sanctuaries Harman Kaya and Tatul – Zlatograd – The Stone Mushrooms close to Beli Plast village and Haskovo.
