2022 started in the best way it could have started with a sunrise party on the beach, a hike in the mountains, a greeting of the golden hour and a party on the main city square in Varna. With such a fresh beginning of the year, I could not have imagined 2022 otherwise than full of great travel escapes and amazing experiences throughout the year.

2021 has arrived and it’s time to hit the road again. I made a list of few places near Varna that I would like to visit this year and I started with the first one – the Museum of Glass and Submarine “Slava” (which means “glory” in Bulgarian) in Beloslav near Varna, Bulgaria. Both museums are located close to each in the little town of Beloslav in Varna region.

It’s always a good idea to spend a day like a tourist in Varna (where I live) and to discover places you’ve never been to before. Summer 2020 brought me to the Palace of Euxinograd and I was delighted to spend a day in Bulgarian Versailles. Euxinograd is a former royal summer residence and is one of the few well-preserved buildings that remind us of the Bulgarian royal family.
